Custard Cornbread

1 1/2 cups cornmeal
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter

In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients. Beat until smooth.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve warm.
